It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Susan Cullum, who lost her courageous battle with cancer on June 29, 2024. Since joining NorthStar Academy in 2015, Susan touched countless lives, leaving a lasting legacy among her colleagues and students.

Susan lived a life of unwavering faith and remarkable strength. This past January, in one of her Facebook updates, Susan shared the lyrics from Casting Crowns' song Make Room: "Make room in your heart, for in His hands He holds tomorrow." She embodied these words daily, making room in her heart for God and trusting Him with her future. Her journey with Christ made her a role model for us all, showing us how to navigate life's challenges with grace and faith.

Known for her cheerful spirit and gift of hospitality, Susan made everyone feel welcome. Her encouraging words lifted spirits and inspired hope. These qualities will be deeply missed, especially by her students, but they will remain a part of her enduring legacy.

To her husband Pat and children Garrett, Jenna, Keifer, and Declan, we extend our deepest sympathies. Our hearts ache with you, and we pray for your comfort and peace.
